The Scottish Storytelling Centre the world's first purpose built modern centre for live storytelling, located on the High Street in Edinburgh's Royal Mile, Scotland, United Kingdom. It was formally opened on 1 June 2006 by Patricia Ferguson MSP, Minister for Culture in the Scottish Executive. It is .
The new building, was designed by Malcolm Fraser Architects, replaced the former Netherbow Arts Centre. The Centre also encompasses the adjacent John Knox House.
The facilities include a 99 seat Storytelling Theatre, an open exhibition on 'Scotland's Stories', a 'Storytelling Café' and the George Mackay Brown Storytelling Library. It is owned by the Church of Scotland and also incorporates the Scottish Churches Parliamentary Office.
